Iron Red Pit-fired Vase

A large pit-fired technique in raku fire vase. The technique refered to as a "baked potato" features a large vessel with a range of faint to rich red tones. The surface also has carbonized chicken features interacting with the iron sulfate washes. The decorative pot has been coated with a durable glossy finish.
